In 2020, we decided we wanted to take our love of home remodeling and design to the next level by starting our own business. Like many other people, we're big fans of the HGTV shows. The cable channel was inspiration for several do-it-yourself projects at our homes. The projects came out so well, we figured we would share our talent and workmanship by refurbishing distressed houses in our community.
Our mission is to salvage neglected houses, give them a lot of TLC and make them beautiful homes again. When we buy a home, we are attracted to the neighborhood in which it's built. All it takes is one distressed property to chip away at the neigthborhood's character. Our goal is to help combat blight by restoring these houses to their original glory - albeit with some modern design trends. We strive enhance and ADD value to neighborhoods one house at a time.
CEO Charles Lee is a former newspaper publisher and advertising sales manager with a penchant for taking things apart and rebuilding them. As a child growing up in Denver, Colo., he often got in trouble for disassembling household items. His father later channeled that energy in a different direction by taking Charles along to help him with home remodeling projects. Before long, Charles was busting down walls, hanging drywall and installing tile floors.
Charles loves to remodel kitchens and bathrooms. He has completed many projects for clients, family, friends and his former church. He is a perfectionist when it comes to measuring and asthethics, and is a stickler about using high-quality material and delivering quality work. His craftsmanship is displayed in all the homes he refurbishes for Three Cord Properities.
Charles has been married to his wife Renée, a former journalist and real estate agent, for more than 30 years. They live in Cypress, TX and have two adult sons.
